HELLO AND WELCOME

Thanks for taking the time to visit my website. I’m Bernadette Wendel, LCSW-C. 

​

During this season in life, my clinical interests are drawn towards women's complex trauma histories and their personal journeys. I have specialized training in trauma-informed care and have had the privilege of holding space with many strong, brave women.  

​

When people ask why I do the work I do, my answer is simple; I can't imagine doing anything else.  I'm at a place in life where I choose to help, inspire, mentor and give back. And it feels good! 

 

I created Women.Trauma.Growth to help women connect, share, heal, and grow. My vision is to offer support and encouragement; to help women find healing and a sense of personal peace within their lives.  I’m no different than any other woman. I know trauma. I’ve suffered losses, I know pain, and I can identify with deep wounds. I am here and I am listening.
